Bradford Area Federal Credit Union History
The Bradford Area Federal Credit Union was formed in 1960, initially serving the Corning Glass Works. Since that time, the credit union has grown by leaps and bounds, while still maintaining our dedication to hometown customer service. Currently, we boast $6 million in assets with more than 2,200 members.
Our credit union is a proud member of the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce; and we are pleased that, in turn, they have become a community partner with our Credit Union.
Our community partners are a group of people who, as an organization, association or community, have applied for access to the credit union's services.
When an organization/community partner is approved for access, any employees, members, or people otherwise associated with the organization (including persons retired as pensioners) have access to the credit union's services. Additionally, family members and household members may also join. Family and household members are defined as follows: a spouse, children, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships. A household is defined as people who live in the same residence as a single economic unit.
